These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Rattana Time website and the watch repair services we provide. By using the website or submitting a service enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "Rattana Time", "we", "us", "our" refers to the business operating at 91 Chang Khlan Road, Mueang, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand.
• "Service" means any watch repair or related work performed by Rattana Time, including battery replacement, case polishing, and mechanical overhauls.
• "User", "you", "your" means the person using this website or engaging our services.
• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions.
• "Website" means the website accessible at https://rattanaxtime.biz.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or leaving your watch for service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are submitting a watch on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authorisation to do so.

3. Services Provided

Rattana Time provides in-person watch repair services in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our three core services are:

• Battery and Seal Refresh — battery replacement, gasket renewal, pressure testing, case cleaning
• Light Polish and Tidy — gentle case polishing, crystal cleaning, lug inspection
• Mechanical Overhaul — full disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, regulation, timing report

Services are conducted at our workshop on Chang Khlan Road. We do not currently offer postal or collection services as a standard offering, though shipping arrangements may be discussed individually for returning customers.

4. Your Responsibilities

When leaving a watch for service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the watch and any known issues
• Notify us of any pre-existing damage not immediately visible upon inspection
• Collect your watch within 30 days of notification that the service is complete
• Not misrepresent ownership of any watch left with us for service
• Use the website lawfully and not attempt to interfere with its operation

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Starting prices are:

• Battery and Seal Refresh: ฿1,430
• Light Polish and Tidy: ฿2,560
• Mechanical Overhaul: ฿4,140

Prices are confirmed before work begins. If additional parts or work are required, we will contact you before proceeding and provide a revised estimate. Payment is due on collection of the watch. We accept cash (Thai Baht) and bank transfer. We do not accept payment in foreign currency.

6. Service Terms

Service timelines are estimates, not commitments: same-day for battery work, one to two days for polishing, two to three weeks for mechanical overhauls. If a service takes longer than expected, we will contact you. We will not begin any work beyond the agreed scope without prior authorisation. Uncollected watches held beyond 60 days from completion notification may, at our discretion, be subject to a storage fee.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to Rattana Time. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you any intellectual property rights beyond the right to use the website for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

We approach all work with care and relevant expertise. However:

• We do not guarantee specific outcomes for any service. Watchmaking involves inherent uncertainty, particularly with aged or unusual movements.
• We will advise if we encounter a movement or condition outside our scope, rather than proceeding with work we cannot do well.
• The website is provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but do not warrant its completeness.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Rattana Time's liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. We are not liable for pre-existing damage that was not identified at intake, provided this was communicated to you. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our work, we will work with you in good faith to find a fair resolution.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Rattana Time against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your misrepresentation of ownership of a watch, your breach of these Terms, or your unlawful use of this website.

11. Termination

Either party may withdraw from a service agreement before work begins, without penalty. If work has begun, costs incurred to that point may apply. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if circumstances warrant, in which case any advance payment will be returned in full.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage an informal resolution discussion first. If a resolution cannot be reached informally within 30 days, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. Nothing in this clause limits your rights as a consumer under applicable Thai consumer protection law.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the complete agreement between us regarding the website and services.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
